YOGA AND MEDITATION RETREAT
on Georgian Bay
OUR RETREAT LOCATION
Situated on beautiful Georgian Bay, just north of Perry Sound, this property consists of a warm inviting 3 bedroom cottage with a two story stone fireplace in the living room, and a dining area with floor to ceiling windows. The cabin on the property has two super comfy log bunk beds and the boat house has been converted into a spacious yoga studio. The atmosphere of the property is friendly, relaxed, and peaceful.
The common areas of the home, and especially the yoga practice space, have stunning bay views and are open to, and just steps away from the water. This secluded property boasts quiet and private outdoor space including fire pit, plenty of outdoor seating and a wooden dock that leads into the water.
Room Type 1: The Cottage
Regular Rate: $400 per person
Early Bird Rate: $350 per person (book by Friday May 5, 2017)
There are three bedrooms in cottage. The main floor bedroom has a queen bed, and a single bed, and the two upstairs bedrooms each have a king bed and a single bed, making these guest rooms ideal for a couple or two friends to share. The cottage has one half bathroom upstairs, and one full bathroom on the main floor, available for the use of all retreat attendees.
Room Type 2: The Cabin
Regular Rate: $350 per person
Early Bird Rate: $300 per person (book by Friday May 5, 2017)
Special Offer: $200 per person
The cabin has two log bunk beds, with very comfortable single mattresses making it ideal for four individuals to share. There is an outhouse and an outdoor shower available on the grounds for the use of all retreat attendees.
WHAT IS SUPPLIED AT THE RETREAT
The following yoga props are available for each student for use at the retreat: two blocks, two blankets, two cylindrical bolsters, one strap, and one eye pillow. Yoga mats are also available for use but students are encouraged to bring their own if they have one.
Food, non-alcoholic beverages, bed linens and towels are all supplied to you for your retreat weekend. Please note all meals are vegetarian and all facilities are smoke free. Bring any items you normally require for any weekend getaway. The following is a list of suggested items to bring that will make your stay more comfortable.
WHAT TO BRING
- Yoga Mat
- Mala for Japa Mediation
- If you use a bench, zafu, zabuton cushion, or shawl for meditation you are invited to bring it with you
- Yoga clothes (loose clothing, preferably cotton)
- Refillable water bottle (filtered well water is available)
- Warm clothing for sitting at the campfire at night (jeans, socks, shoes, and hooded sweat shirt are ideal)
- Raincoat (if you bring it then it definitely won’t rain!)
- Walking shoes (in case you decide to go for a walk)
- Anything for special dietary or medical needs
- Swim suit for going into the gorgeous lake
- Bug spray
- Beach towel for swimming
- Camera to photograph the stunning views
Should you wish to indulge, you may bring your own.
